The Wonder Gardens are home to a diverse family of rescued, rehabilitated and nonreleasable Florida alligators and flamingos, macaws, pythons, turtles, tortoises and even Chinese golden pheasants. Add to that the park’s vibrant botanical collection and there’s something for everyone. A cornerstone of Old Florida, it tells the story of the past meeting the future, right in the middle of downtown Bonita Springs. The gardens were closed in the weeks following Hurricane Ian.
