Activity description

Cayo Costa’s nine miles of largely undeveloped Gulf beaches make this barrier-island state park one of Southwest Florida’s most remote coastal escapes. Accessible by private boat, the park rewards visitors with shelling, swimming, fishing and wildlife watching in an unusually natural setting. Ferry service and overnight accommodations remain unavailable during ongoing Hurricane Ian recovery, and visitors should bring drinking water and supplies.
